About Kathleen

BINGHAM, Kathleen 2010

Kathleen is a Certified Specialist – Family Law practicing family and child protection law in Hamilton and the surrounding area. She is also an accredited Family Law and Child Protection Mediator.


Kathleen attended Queen’s University Law school where she earned several awards for academic excellence and was recognized as the best overall advocate at the Ontario Trial Lawyer’s Association Moot. After graduation, Kathleen advanced her advocacy skills by practicing in civil and commercial litigation.


Kathleen has exclusively practiced in the area of family, matrimonial and child welfare law since 2011. She is committed to understanding the unique aspects of her clients’ cases and the complexities of family law. Kathleen carefully studies case law and tailors a specific approach for your unique situation.


Kathleen is an active member in the Hamilton legal community and is a member of: The Hamilton Law Association Board of Trustees and Chair of the Family Law Subcommittee, the Hamilton Child Protection Subcommittee, the Hamilton-Halton Collaborative Family Practice Group, the Hamilton Justice Education Network and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.


When Kathleen is not in the office, she enjoys jogging in the morning or baking her favourite chocolate chiffon cake.
